Where can I find musicians to collaborate with online?
On CollabWav. Browse open collaboration requests from singers, producers, songwriters, instrumentalists and audio engineers, or post your own request describing the part you need. You can browse without an account, and joining is free.
How can I find a producer for my song?
Post a request on CollabWav, choose Producer, Beat Maker, Mixing Engineer or Mastering Engineer as the role, add your genre and a link to your demo, and say how you will compensate. Producers reply with a message and a sample, and you choose who to work with.
Can I find singers for my demos?
Yes. Choose Vocalist as the role in your request and link your instrumental or demo. Singers reply with a message and a sample so you can hear their voice before you decide. Say in the request whether the work is paid, credit only, a trade or free.
How does CollabWav work?
You post a request that says what your song needs. Other musicians respond with a message and a sample. You accept the one you want, message each other and finish the track together. You can also browse requests, save the ones you like and respond to them once you have joined.
Is CollabWav free to use?
Yes. CollabWav is free to join. Any payment between members, such as a fee, a royalty split or credit, is arranged directly between you.
Do I need an account to browse requests?

Does CollabWav handle payments?
No. CollabWav does not process payments, hold money or enforce agreements between members. Agree the amount, the due date and who owns the work in writing before you start. The Artist Resources page explains how.
Who owns the music I post or make?
You keep your rights to what you post. CollabWav only displays what you share so others can respond. Who owns a song you make with someone else is decided by the agreement between you, so put it in writing. See the Terms and Artist Resources.
How do I stay safe working with someone online?
Listen to samples, check their profile, agree the terms in writing, use milestones for paid work, and never send money to someone you have not worked with for fees or deposits. Artist Resources has a checklist.
